On vacation to Scotland in 2022
Scotland is a country with a lot of nature and a rich history. The cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Stirling are often visited by holidaymakers. In addition, the country has many nature reserves such as, Trossachs and Loch Lomond (the largest lake of Scotland).
All about the travel certificate
If you have a negative test result, you will receive a certificate. This gives you access to Scotland. The document is checked at 5 points:
- The type of test: an antigen rapid test or a PCR test
- The test result: it should be negative
- The first and last name: this must be in accordance with the passport
- The date and time of the test
- The details of the institute or laboratory that administered the test
What's a coronagraph?
There are several types of coronate tests that can indicate whether you are infected with the coronavirus, such as a rapid antigen test and a PCR test. An antigen rapid test gives a quick result, so you know immediately if you are currently infected with the virus. The result of a PCR test takes a little longer, but is more accurate. Moreover, with the PCR test you get an international travel certificate, which is a requirement for entering many countries. With an antigen rapid test you get a different kind of certificate, which is often not suitable for travel.
